Last Christmas, little Jadey got a Hannah Montana electric guitar from Santa. It was on her Christmas Wish list so she was real ecstatic when Santa granter her wish. She would often play with it whenever one of her parents or an adult is present to help her out. Unfortunately, during her pretend concert with some of her older playmates a guitar string accidentally broke. And though she forgave her playmate, her downtrodden look told us how much the broken string has saddened her. To bring some cheer back to her afternoon we decided to go for milkshakes at Johnny Rockets.
Johnny Rockets is the current favorite diner of the kids, primarily because of their yummy milkshakes, brownies and bottomless French fries. Just like their mom, Jade and Jakei are also milkshake fanatics and what better way is there to cheer this little girl up than to give her some comfort food in a cheery ambiance. It was just the middle of the afternoon so we decided to simply go for some snacks instead of ordering big servings of their sandwiches. Jade went for a Deluxe Strawberry Banana Milkshake while Jakei got a chocolate one. I decided to have the Rootbeer Float, which tasted better than my favorite original A&W Rootbeer Float of the 80’s, and Chili fries while my sister got a Perfect Sundae which is a combination of two scoops of vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce topped with almond slivers and whipped cream. We also ordered a combination of onion rings and French fries to be shared with the kids.
Since we were at the mall already, my sister decided to look at some Dunlop guitar strings and other nylon strings which was recommended by her friend musician to replace the broken one. My sister’s friend also volunteered to replace the string for little Jadey. Our little girl enjoyed an afternoon full of sweet delights that wiped away the gloom on her face and replaced it with a sweet smile.
