Fast Food Favorites for People on a Budget

When you find yourself short on time and tight on the budget, fast food chains that offer value meals can help tide you over till the next payday.  There are instances when unexpected expenses affect our household budget and urgent workload or errands eat up our time for our regular tasks like preparing meals.  In times like these, we turn to well known food chains that have affordable rice meals in their menu.  Three of our “go to” fast food chains for such crisis include Jollibee, Chowking and Mang Inasal.

One of the most popular fast foods today is Jollibee, you would rarely meet a child who doesn’t know the Jollibee mascot and they probably have every corner of the metropolis covered.  When quick and no argument decisions need to be made, Jollibee Chicken Joy is the way to go.  It one of the meals that kids would eat without asking for something else or picking on it.  They also have lumpiang shanghai and burger steak meals that are very affordable at P39 and P49 only.  Another chain that we also visit is Chowking Restaurant.  They have a wider choice of rice meals that range from standard rice meal, rice toppings, lauriat, and fried rice or chowfan.  Our current favorites include the orange chicken, beef brisket, and yang chow chow fan with siomai.  Mang Inasal is also one of our options since my little girl loves their sinigang.  Unfortunately, they took it out of their menu already so we just go there whenever we have cravings for barbeque.  Mang Inasal also has one of the most affordable rice meals that you can enjoy with a price range of under P100.  The desserts are also easy on the pocket especially with their sorbetes scoop which is only P10.

Aside from affordable rice meals, loyal customers of these chains can also enjoy the rewards of their purchases through their happy plus card, which is a combination of a pre-paid card and a loyalty card.  You may get the card for only P100 and use it to pay for your meals at Jollibee, Chowking, Greenwich and Red Ribbon outlets.  Customers earn 1 happy point for every P50 purchase.  Happy points earned can be used to get free food items.  The card can also help your budget allocation since the funds loaded in the card may only be used for food purchases and not just anything that catches your fancy.

Those who purchase food from these chains on a regular basis can save on their meal expenses through the happy point that they earn.  It is convenient and easy to use that you can even get one for your child.  That is, if they are already old enough and responsible enough to handle it.  This is just like giving them a prepaid debit card for kids so discretion is required.  Practical people who want to earn savings while keeping their tummies happy are in for a great deal with a happy plus card for their favorite fast food chains.
