Unique Tasting Silvanas from Tinapayan Bakery

Our recent food trip in Tinapayan bakeshop got us bingeing on ensaymada, mini-muffins, and silvanas.  The Silvanas caught our attention because it is unlike any that we have tasted before.  Its appearance was enticing but it was a bit short on the filling and is not as buttery as the regular silvanas.  However, it was generous with the cookie crumb coating making it taste more like a nutty polvorn with filling.

The individual components may not be at par with the traditional silvanas or the ones from House of Silvanas but the combination of all ingredients created a unique and yummy version of silvanas.  The kids and I actually found ourselves consuming the whole box in just one sitting.  This is definitely another treat that we’ll keep coming back for at Tinapayan Bakery.
