Ice candy is the Filipino version of a lemonade stand. Little kids who would like to raise funds while keeping themselves cool this summer will definitely enjoy this kiddie entrepreneur venture. There are two types of ice candy that you can prepare. One that uses fresh fruit ingredients and fruit bits like buko, mango or melon and the ones that use powdered juices for out of season fruits like strawberry or grapes.
Setting up your kiddie ice candy business would require the following materials and ingredients:
ice candy plastic.
Water
fresh fruits or powdered juice
sugar
Procedure:
- Slice, dice or grate fresh fruits into bite size pieces.
- Mix fruit juice and fruit bits with water and sugar.
- Put mixture in ice candy plastic using ladle and funnel
- Knot the open end of the plastic tightly and firmly
- Freeze and serve
